Killing the Indian River Estuaries and draining the water before the dry season, yet again....SFWMD must be run by a bunch of hacks.

I don't understand, the lakeside communities take a risk being lakeside just like Oceanside communities take a risk being along an ocean. I would think it better to risk a few lakeside communities than the water supplies for farmers and drinking water for millions.

Guyz & Girlz, it's all about the Herbert Hoover Dike(levee)! They have been doing repair work on it to keep it from failing so they drain when they deemed necessary at the expense of us South Floridians!!! Here is the link to my original thread on this matter: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=102720
