Maybe Max Mayfield should call from WPLG TV and tell Avila to get his rear in gear.

Wxman57 - Talk about a change in fortunes...TD2 is a threat to SFL? I live 2 miles from Plantation so your comments caught my eye!

Maybe if we start chanting his name, he'll send out his advisory and his thoughts about 2

No Taco Bell?

I wonder if the discussion was as animated as the Ivan reclassification? LOL J/K ... Specifically Bill Read is a very much by the books kinda guy and has lead to the TPC being a bit more conservative as a whole, and reluctant to pull that trigger. Past history of TD #2 fizzling before doesn't help with that trigger.

Just wondering, why are you exactly pinning this on Avila? Does Avila have a history of mistreating storms or something?

Avila is known for being very conservative and pessimistic on upgrades. We have learned this by watching his discussions and things like tonight take place on his watch.

well, since dolly jumped up and bit him... "ding dong the bell has rung, hello dolly"... that was the start of the advisory... and then, dolly went poof!!! could be the reason why

"Nah...I'll let the next shift do it."

Lixion leans back in his chair...puts his tired dogs up on the desk for a rest and slowly pulls his fedora down his forehead while Mario Bauzá softly plays in the background...

Well, time to get ready for bed. We've activated our 24/7 crew through the weekend, so I don't have to sleep with 1 eye open. Avila is probably reading this thread and laughing.

And far better! ribs n' black beans mmm....

Even if former-and-soon-to-be #2 gets its number back, would it really have much of a chance at survival?

maybe he wants to wait until all the 11pm news shows are done so he doesn't get about a million calls when the cone points to SFL.

That would be very funny if NHC tweaked their schedule just to mess with a message board
