Jake is smart and a smart a$$. No wonder why Phil smokes like a chimney. Both of his boys though aren't slackers.

I have a soft spot for all four of the main boats featured. What I really like to see is that these seasoned tough guys are all softies at heart. :cheesy:

LOL, they both have a Jake as deckhands.
On the Cornelia Marie Jake is Capt. Phils son and little more well know I believe than the Jake on the Northwestern.
Heres a link to all the bios on all the crews.

Jake Harris! I agree about the slacker thing. He has his moments.

LOL!

My heart broke for Jake from the Northwestern when he found out his sister died. He's a hard worker too and not a know-it-all.

I am an addict of this show :-) It's amazing in HD!

I also like the Cornelia Maria, they might be me favorite along with the Time Bandit.

I don't care for the Wizard or Keith at all.

Keith makes some dumb decisions, especially going out to sea in that storm with 200+ pots. It ended up hurting 3 of his crew when the rogue wave hit. Also when he set his pots on top of Phil's - he knew darn well that he was going to take advantage of what the Cornelia Marie was catching.

I love Cornelia Marie and Time Bandit, but the Northwestern is growing on me too. I love how Sig really took care of getting Jake home to his family after his sister died. I also love the practical jokes, but the biting off of the herring's head I can do without...

Captain Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie suffered a stroke! :(

The doctors also put him into a drug induced coma after a 12 hour long surgery to reduce swelling.

Holy crap, he does the most dangerous job on earth and is downed by a stroke, how sadly ironic.

He's apparently out of the drug induced coma and is communicating with his sons, Josh and Jake and the staff. There's a quote in the Deadliest Catch forum from his sons that he told the doctors and nurses not to f*** up! Sounds like Capt. Phil!

They're filming the new season. I think it is the opilio season now. That's what Capt. Phil is missing at this time. I'm sure that they will have re-runs again as soon as the new season is about to start.

I saw that as soon as I logged in this morning. There's a big hole in the Bering Sea and the Deadliest Catch with Captain Phil gone.

Rest in Peace Captain Phil! :(
