What area will be under 1st hurricane watch in '09?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Congrats...you got it right! Bermuda was the first area in the Atlantic Basin put under a hurricane watch in the 2009 season.

As for the US, from the Florida-Alabama border to the mouth of the Suwanee River. It will be issued for a tropical storm that the NHC thinks might become a hurricane but does not because of shear (total guess).
