podcasts

#1 Postby Derek Ortt » Wed Aug 26, 2009 9:06 pm

Hi all,

I decided to do general Atlantic/EPAC podcasts, summarizing the activity and providing more info that I otherwise do in the standard products.

Note: for specific information relating to the northern Gulf Coats, you'll need to go to pnj.com

http://www.nwhhc.com/podcasts (only 1 up so far and from tonight, lol)

Any chance of a Mac-friendly format, Derek? MP3 or M4A would help.

I will look into it, Chacor. I wonder if this was the problem when Claudette made landfall and some people not being able to hear them at PNJ.

Also, the podcasts will stay online for at least 10 days

I have uploaded last nights in mp3 format. Let me know if that works. I understand this can be accessed across platform, including on Linux.

If this is in good shape, I'll switch all audio on nwhhc to the mp3 format instead of the wma format

What is the address for the RSS feed? Just so, I can have an aggregator check and automatically download the podcast. Thanks!

new podcast available

not... I am probably not going to update this for each and every podcast. You'll have to check the site here or PNJ, especially when systems are threatening land
