What a great reunion of the Puerto Rico hurricane enthusiastics as we had a great time.We had the sub-director of the NWS office in San Juan Rafael Mojica and he made some comments that I will pass to all here. The most omminous thing that he said to us is hat we are in an active cycle of tropical activity that started in 1995 and will last over 3 more decades and that is not good news at all. :o As for the wave east of the islands he said as long the LLC is exposed he doesn't see any development but also he said that it is watched in case it gather thunderstorms over that LLC but rain is a sure bet for the northern leeward islands and for the Virgin Islands/ Puerto Rico. Here is the discussion from the NWS in San Juan about the tropical wave.
As for the photos of the reunion they will be posted later in the week.

Luis, I am curious to know (maybe others here are as well) how was it possible to have the Sub-director of the National Weather Service office in San Juan Rafael Mojica at one of your homes?
Tom he was not on shift today at the office so he went to our reunion and it was a fabulous one that all will see in photos this week.

That's wonderful! I'm glad all of you had a great time. It is pretty scary to think that we're in an active tropical pattern - the next 30 YEARS??? Yikes!
Lindaloo the photos will be posted this week and I wished that you and all here would be here.
