Well, I-70 in KS is atleast fun. Compared to the other states.... Sebelius(Govenor, Kansas(D)) once called the roads of Missouri "Worse then the attacks on the World Trade Center on 9/11." (She later apoligized) And on my trip to Colorado, the first couple of miles had no signs at all to read.

KANSAS RULES! Stop by Topeka if you come through. ;)

David, yes, I-70, on my way to Colorado, in 1986 BM (before marriage).
In 2003 AM, I feel fortunate to get to work every day.
Kansas was nice, just long.

Last time I was on I-70 in Kansas, the speed limit was...let's see...90 mph?

As to Gov. Sebelius (?) bashing Missouri's roads...maybe someone should send her on a fact-finding mission to Arkansas sometime! THE WORST ROADS ON THE PLANET, bar none.

Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania from the Ohio border to the New Jersey border is a close second to Interstate 70 in Kansas from the Colorado border to the Missouri border... Interstate 70 in Kansas is 300 to 325 miles long. Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania is nearly 300 miles long. :D

One of my brothers lived in Wheeling for a couple years after living/going to West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.

David, I had a feeling Interstate 70 in Kansas was closer to 350 miles, but a quick straight line estimate came between 300 and 325 miles. :)

Tom, my daughter was graduated from WVU in 1989. Wheeling is only about 40 miles from Weirton.

Nice, Pburgh. My brother went to WVU for graduate school after attending Bridgewater States College in Bridgewater, Massachusetts (which was only two miles from where we used to live).

I spent 23 days in Morgantown with him, from Monday, May 26th to June 18th, 1997. He got married right in Morgantown in August, 1999.
