That's pretty high for central Pennsylvania. It was THICK out there. I couldn't even cool off with the 2-60 air conditioning in my car.

It was pretty soupy here in NJ too. We did have a breif shower and when it cleared abit the sky was a pretty blue, not hazy and it did feel more comfortable. Not for long though!

Ah, the "Dog Days of Summer" are upon us!

Yeah, this it about the time that you start looking forward to cooler weather. You'd never think that in March, but come on October!

I sat through a Phillies doubleheader on Saturday and another game on Sunday. The combination of warm temps and very high humidity was almost unbearable. And this is supposed to continue for the rest of the week. Yuck. :(

Gee Nystate, it's hard to get comfortable at all when the temps in the house are that high. Having the dewpoints in the 70's in Upstate NY is not very common - much more so for my area. I just drove home through a deluge alittle while ago. We may have some more rain on tap later coming from DE.

Here in Florida with the temperatures before afternoon and/or evening thunderstorms move through with the air conditioner set at 78º or 79º/temperature between 78º to 82º degrees (my bedroom is always on the higher end of this range for some reason).

During the summer when it is lower than 78º it is actually chilly.

Dewpoint is 73 here right now, and humidity of 57%. It is pretty soupy here too. Although it is more common for us in Nebraska.
