Thank you for the prayers on my cousin Suz's behalf

My cousin Susie was diagnosed with cancer last autumn; and I posted a prayer request on her behalf here in May when doctors said there was no hope (they believed she'd die before her birthday in mid June).

Suz fought the disease bravely, but sadly passed away early this morning in Tennessee. She was a Christian, and before lapsing into a coma late yesterday, told her sisters and mother she saw angels, and her nephew Neal (who died in 1983)...as sad as I am, knowing she's in heaven with my mom and uncle Neal is comforting to me :(

My humble thanks to everyone on this forum who offered thoughts and prayers on Susie's behalf, and to lift my spirits. Susie was a wonderful lady...always the big sister I never had, so this is very rough...but with the Lord's help, I'll be okay.

Gee Perry, I'm so sorry to hear of her passing! She knew that she was heading to a beautiful place though! It's comforting to hear that she saw angels and Neal because you knew she was at peace. God bless Susie and you and your family!

People like her are put on earth for a whole list of reasons, one of them being her closeness to you. May God bless you and your extended family...

Thanks everyone....I'm okay...much better than yesterday. Susie was a precious lady, and touched a lot of lives in her lifetime, including mine. :)
