Why the lack of posts lately?

#1 Postby weatherlover427 » Mon Aug 04, 2003 11:11 pm

I have noticed that, via Tom's nightly stats updates; the PPD of this site is dropping daily. What is going on? :( I have been trying to help but it seems my efforts are not good enough. :( What can we do to get posting again? :(

Members post when they have things to say. A useful post is the best kind of post. :)

Summer vacations?
Maybe some people are taking a breather.
Sometimes I take a break when I think I'm getting annoying.
I've been on a roll lately, maybe its time.

Most posts come from Fun and Games. Pojo, King of Wx have left(they replied alot), but Perry has come to fill in 1 spot. Probably later in the year we will get more posts. :)

David, you must not have come across a post or two from Perry, Harry (King of Weather) hasn't been in the Fun & Games Forum lately and Shannon is on vacation.

In my case, summer is winding down. We're just very busy. This week we have a 4 day family reunion in KY to get ready for. Last week it was a Friday night concert, in Indianapolis (road trip!) and a wedding on Saturday night. I don't know where my summer has gone! My girls start school in 2 weeks!!!! We have a slew of things to do before then.

Once school starts again, I'll have more time to post. I must admit too I've popped in here lately and it does seem slow. I'm hesitant to even start a topic right now b/c I know I couldn't check on it much. Maybe others are very busy too. Once Fall is here, it will pick up. And then Winter! I'm looking forward to then, since I love Winter and snow. I joined last February so I missed all the Winter talk.

Last I heard Kingofweather was having computer problems. With my company's move last month we've been swamped at work so I haven't had much time either. I'm sure this is just a lull. Wait until we get a real storm brewing and things will pick back up :-)

There's also a lack in Tropical Storm activity in the Atlantic Basin and I think that has part of it as well ... so, it's a little bit of everything right now...just a valley in the many peaks and valleys that occur.

Yeah... just the normal highs and lows so to speak. I do agree that it should pick back up and I hope it does. :)

Says who?? No you haven't!

Definately busy outside, work, etc. Next Thursday - Sunday I won't be on at all due to my trip. August is a big month for vacations, at least up here where school doesn't start until after Labor Day.

Don't worry Josh, we'll be back! :D

it has not been easy ticka. i am typing with one finger and it just takes a while. lol. the clean break is the one hurting, the fracture does not hurt. it happened monday afternoon.

i broke them in a horse accident. not the horse fault though.

i am a quick healer so i should be fine in about 6 wks. :)
