Here in SE TX, we fall into "Several Snow/Ice Storms," "Above Normal Precip," and "Below Normal Temps." hmmm... I'd be ecstatic to get ONE snow event! Anyone know what other winter forecasts are saying? Similar to JB?

Larry Cosgrove of WeatherAmerica has been suggesting an active, Nino-like jet across Texas this winter with some intrusions of polar air. But he has not suggested an actual winter forecast yet.

A lot of long range forecasters tend to wait until November to issue their forecasts. I do tend to agree with Larry though. It should make for an interesting Winter Season.
