It has been lightly snowing here in NW MN off an on since about 6 p.m. and my yard has a light cover. It's too early; I'm not ready for it!
Anyone want to come over for a garage cleaning party tomorrow? I would like to be able to get my car in there!

That's why I live here in NJ.
Seriously, I remember in my senior year of high school back in October 1979 we did have snow - about 3 inches worth. I know we've had early snows here as well. It didn't necessarily mean an early, harsh winter though.
I want to enjoy my fall colors and rake my leaves. I'll put an order in for snow around the first week of December thank you.

I haven't seen that yet - off to check the forecast but it sounds like it will be south of us ... I hope.

Its shifted south. I'm near the bullseye now. 2-4 inches on October 12.

No real accumulation, thank goodness; it has all melted now anyway from the rain that came after

Farmers are having a touch time of it this fall though; still alot of corn and beans in the fields that need to come out and the sugar beet season is completely messed up (that's all you hear in a rural community this time of year LOL).
