902mb was the estimated lowest pressure in Linda. Kenna was 913mb in 2002 (and that was Recon-confirmed).

Re: EPAC : HURRICANE RICK (20E)
Can you imagine the panic if this was in the GOM or off the east coast... too scary... makes me want to go add some more metal to my house... like that would do any good against this beast...

NOTE: This is not an official forecast. It is not to be treated as such.
What scares me is that I think there's a window of opportunity for Rick to seize Linda's record.

After gusts, the eyewall is like an EF5 tornado that is 20 miles wide...NOTHING can withstand that. Luckily no land is in immediate danger. This board would be in insanity mode if this was sitting in the Gulf of Mexico right now...

Luckily no land is in immediate danger.
It will pass close to the Island of Socorro,a Mexican military place.
That dot is Socorro and the forecast is to pass just south and west.

And wikipedia says there are approximately 250 Mexican military personnel and their
families living on the base there, which is on the southern tip of the island. I hope
they're evacuated from the island by now!
