A Flash Flood Warning was issued for me this afternoon around 2:30 and expired at 5:30 PM EST. Flood Watch until tomorrow morning. Fewer showers are expected tomorrow, before they become more numerous again Thursday and Friday.

The Skippack creek near me flooded badly yesterday afternoon. Much of the Mainland Golf Course was under water, and almost every road near the creek and golf course was closed or impassible! :o I think parts of Lower Salford Township in Montgomery County, PA reported over 4 inches of rain in less than 4 hours. My 25 minutes drive home from work yesterday turned into an 80 minute drive because of the detours and ensuing traffic jams caused by the flooding.

I have some good news-----showers and thunderstorms should take a break the next 2 days with a dry slot punching in from the backside of the Upper Level Low. ;)
