According to typhoon2000.ph, there MIGHT be another LPA developing near Marianas.

Every agency forecast I saw predicted Lupit to take a WSW track. The question is how close to Luzon will the centre get before a possible recurve situation or stall?
Thanks for posting those pics Jim, winds should pick up at your location tomorrow somewhat!

Sure, if I can get there but I doubt I would have time.
Are there alot of press agencies up there?
I saw some Philippino crew at the beach I was at this am. I'm sure they were from some TV Station in Manila. I saw two american missionaries but that's it.
Had dinner at the motel and that was the chicken I've ever had. Yum! Everybody here is wondering what's up with Ramil? This has got to be one of the whackiest chases I've ever been on. I am clueless to where this typhoon is going. So I'm just going to sit tight and immerse myself in Phillipino culture for a few days.

Many thanks James for the text updates! I will return the favor! I pull up S2K for the locals and get all the info for them real fast! With the slow internet here it's real nice to get everything on 1 website. Thanks to the folks that set up this website! Folks here really appreciate the updates - I am swarmed by the locals when I'm on line here at the internet cafe.

That kinda worries me a little bit......This typhoon is really unpredictable...

Sometimes when you want something NOT to happen so bad, it happens...hopefully this is not the case w/Lupit.

Re: WPAC: TYPHOON LUPIT (22W)
The government has all its resources up north, if this storm pulls a fast one on us and moves down to central Luzon, it will catch everyone by surprise.
By the way, all forecasts say this IS NOT going to happen.
