No big difference between JMA and JTWC in terms of the forecast track.

Looks like flights from Manila to Tuguegarao are sold out on Friday. I don't know how I'm going to get up there from Manila now. It's a very long drive. Any locals have an ideas???

November 1, Sunday is a day of respect for the dead for us Filipinos. Its also a time for family reunions, and people usually go home to their provinces on the weekend. And the govt has declared a long weekend for the people to do so.

It would be no surprise that you will have problems booking a flight to Tuguegarao.

But with a big storm coming, its also possible for the flight to get cancelled.

That explains it. Philippine Air from Guam to Manila was book as well as the domestic flight. How long of a drive is it from Manila to Tuguegarao? Looks like the JTWC track is a little south of Tuguegarao.

he's right. you can just ride on a bus going to tuguegarao. it will take some 9 to 10 hours to travel from manila to the northern provinces. however, pagasa will be releasing a special travel advisory sometime tomorrow in anticipation of the coming typhoon. travelling could be hard this weekend because of all saint's day, and so with SANTI.

I'm in Guam - 8-10 hours is doable for a daytime Cat 3. I found a flight from Guam to Manila for Thursday night
