Valenzuela city---winds getting way stronger and rain becoming heavier

its now raining here but not heavy... winds are not so strong too..
its maybe because valenzuela is in somewhere north and where down south.. i just hope it wont flood that high in marikina, its where i live :(

Marikina river will will most likely overflow. I hope people living in the riverside should be staying out in that zone right now. Was the government implemented the evacuations in Marikina river?

im here in pasig for a week already, if you are asking me if they started relocating? you should ask first where... cause almost all of marikina were flooded during ondoy's time... except for a few higher grounds :( i just hope marikina survives this time again... here in pasig, things are getting cocky now, both winds and rain.. praying, crossing fingers and hope for the best

Yes, the eye should be coming over Maubon about now or within the next half hour. It is NOT over Manila yet.

ClarkEligue, where are you getting your info?

Hey, we just had power out for 3 hours but it's back now. Has the eye passed Quezon City yet?

It's raining very hard here. Street flooding

No. the eye is over the Quezon coast between Infanta and Maubon, I believe. The very heaviest core conditions should hit you within a half hour or so and last for at least a few hours.

This is odd, the wind died down. Either we are in the middle of the eye or the eye dived SW. By the way, San pedro laguna is just south of Manila

flood update: streets start flooding a little now in marikina, its not deep... yet (hoping still for the best of the worsts)

(update came from a friend in nangka, marikina which is supposedly one of the higher grounds)

Marikina should expect water coming from rizal and quezon city :(

I think the storm has gone south of us in quezon city and valenzuela. More rain we can probably expect, however.

I dont think Mirinae's core has reached
NCR. It is still traversing Quezon-Rizal province. :(

The winds are strongest on the north side of the core. From what I can see on the satellites, the core is weakening and the eye is not detectable again.

Ricmood, are you in San Pedro Laguna due south of Quezon City?
