Glad you can tell. So the eye is east-southeast of you. Keep me updated when they start shifting.

yeah but the core will still be over us even if the eye won't be....
The winds are strongest on the north side of the core. From what I can see on the satellites, the core is weakening and the eye is not detectable again.
Ricmood, are you in San Pedro Laguna due south of Quezon City?

The strongest ones, yes, most likely. I'm waiting to find out where ricmood is. Since the eye may be stretched out from west to east rather than circular, and SANTI is moving very fast, it is possible that he is in the eye. His winds shouldn't have died off so much.

Yup about 50kms south of QC.
BTW winds are back about 10 mins ago

I think you got part of the eye.
1. Were the winds really light, and how long were the winds down?
1. Is there any way you can tell me the wind direction now (where coming from)?

forgive me for my noob question... im monitoring the rain here in pasig though sometimes the rain get harder but it seems like a monsoon rain to me... i know strength description is relative, but i dont feel anything more than usual rain. no winds, trees are not moving at all... enlighten me please... is the eye or core over manila now, or are we directly below it... it just keeps raining, no winds

Should go right over you within the hour. If it is not any trouble, could you please note when your winds die off, and when they pick up again. As the eye leaves, the winds will come back up really fast so be very careful.

I'm trying to determine that right now. From what I'm gathering at this point, I think you may be in the eye. How long have the winds been quiet, and how strong were they before they quited down?
