SE Ridge vs El Nino

SE Ridge vs El Nino
I know having a SE ridge during the winter in a La Nina pattern is more common. I was curious if you can get a ridge in the SE US during a moderate El Nino as a semi permanent feature?

A SE ridge is usually progressive or less of a permanent feature during El Nino years due to the active Sub Tropical Jet that is rather common. For folks in the SE, this year looks to offer many chances for moisture as areas of Low Pressure develops along the STJ in the GOM. Hopefully the long lasting drought that many have endured will be just a memory this winter season. We have already witnessed some "hints" of how active the upcoming fall/winter season will infact be IMHO.
