Well the snow has picked up in Plano and so has the wind. Snow is being whipped around. Big, fat flakes are falling, so pretty. But it has gotten colder.

I think that this system may have some surprises for Texas (SE) before it is through. Just my .02 cents. I could be totally wrong. Just a small shift south...busted forecasts...

It stuck a bit earlier on the grass and bushes when it came down hard, a lot of which melted as soon as it let up here.

Wow Really! I'm in The Colony which is just barely southeast of you, and everything is white here, all the lawns, the rooftops, the cars. Awesome looking!

Not here in Midlothian. Melt on contact seems to be name of the game.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that map shows what has fallen, not their prediction of total accumulation all set and done.

Temperatures area wide are starting to fall to at or below freezing. The heavier stuff moving in should start to stick, as usuall elevated surfaces first.

Is the snow in Plano coated with a tint of Marroon, Gold, or Blue where you live?
