Huge African Wave - Aug 3rd and Today (Aug 8th)

This was the huge African Wave 5 days ago.

This is the same wave just getting ready to exit ... it has the look, doesn't it. The current wave 140 miles of the Cape Verde Islands may assist in bringing the necessary moisture to it as it exits off the coast to sustain itself off the water.

Interestingly enough, I just looked at the globals for the first time in association with the two waves off of Africa and they do not show any promise with either low.

A majority of the consensus are keeping the NAO negative and in response are spawning off an Azores Low.

In simple words the globals are saying NADA so CV season will have to wait a little longer to spark.

The globals are saying NADA but I'm not so sure about that as of yet, even with the -NAO, developing Azores Low, based on the "look" of the African Wave. Based on the globals, the energy/waves would be pulled northward quickly.

In Addition, though, IMO, the wave poised to exit off the coast will develop further into something, but the question is now whether it will get pulled northward or not.
