Good morning everyone. It has been a while since I updated this thread. Some people have sent me private messages wanting to know how I am doing. Well, I am still going... down 58 pounds and three pant sizes! It feels wonderful.

I did allow myself to enjoy a couple of days of holiday food but yesterday was back to the routine and so far, so good.

I am emotional this morning... more so than normal. I have spent some time reflecting on what I have accomplished in 2009. To date, I have lost 61 pounds and while I have received rewards and praise for other things in my life, I don't know of anything else that I have ever been so proud of. These tears that I have shed this morning aren't sad tears... they are tears of joy. I am becoming the person I knew I could be. The process is slow, but I will get there.

I want to thank all of you for your encouragement on this journey. Between my family, friends, and my online "family", I have had so much support.

Sorry for being so dramatic with all this inspirational stuff this morning, but it truly comes from the heart. I look forward to continuing this success in 2010. I hope along the way, I am able to inspire others, too. Each day the man in the mirror is starting to take shape.

I'm sure that you've already inspired many in ways you never knew. ;)

You should cry tears of joy and be VERY proud of yourself.
