even more impressive by hour 78..

And look at hour 84!

..Pretty stunning 24 hour totals. The big question though is how much of this falls as wintry precipitation and how much of it falls as rain?

Edit: EWG even if 1/3 or 1/2 of it is snow, still incredibly high.

SOOOOOOOOO CLOSE to being such a big event here a real real real big event. I hate this why can't it just all come together? It's no fun being teased like a cat with a string. I would drive up to Oklahoma but I'm not so sure I'd want to be stuck driving around in that. I'd rather be making 10ft tall snowman at my house.

Lots, and lots of rain, and maybe some type of winter precip, but it looks like according to the models as of now it'd be light, and quick to move out.
But I'm still holding out hope cause it if tracks further south, or if the models are off just slightly this could be one huge storm for us.

If it were to track further south and the cold front blows through faster with deeper cold air, there would be more than enough to dump heavy snow ontop of the heavy rain prior. Fantasy scenario atm but differences in a 100 miles or so would make big changes.

just my opinion the front should be well into n.tx by that time peroid and a LARGE part of that
over ok into nw tx should be VERY HEAVY SNOW... this is gonna be a MAJOR,MAJOR,MAJOR WINTER
SNOW STORM.. WE WILL SEE ICE ON THE FRONT END AND A VERY HEAVY BLIZZARD SNOW STORM ON
THE BACKSIDE... I WILL SAY IT NOW MARK MY WORD THE MAJORITY OF IT WILL BE SNOW WHAT UR SEEING
IN THE 72-84 HR TIME FRAME OF THE NAM.. SNOW TOTALS BETWEEN 16-20 INCHES POSSIBLE IF NOT HIGHER..

still to early to say at this point the nw sides could get 4-6 inches... still hard to say but if the southward trend keeps up
then i would say it could get pretty nasty down there to
