*LOL* - I voted yes yesterday then the convection poofed last night ... I was getting ready to eat another crow, but looks like I'll have a double cheeseburger instead for lunch.

This is the kind of crow that tastes good! Whenever you are pessimistic and it turns out the other way...that's the kind of crow I like eating.

91L

#10 Postby wxman57 » Sat Aug 09, 2003 1:52 pm

If you look at that picture you posted, then you'll see that 91L has two LLCs, one northeast of the red circle near 27.5N/51.5W (at 18Z) and one southwest near 24N/53W. They'll have to consolidate for development to take place.

Looking at visible imagery and then looking at WV imagery, the southern low is still more ULL related, IMO. Can you tell me what you're seeing that I'm not.

Can't see it on those zoomed-out loops. I have my own loop going - zoomed in 1K image. I was at the office a few hours ago and checked it out in detail using GARP. There are clearly two circulation centers. One could be a bit above the surface, it's hard to tell with no obs in the area. Try this image. I added where the centers are:

Gotcha. I need to find some close-ups satellite shots of that area.
