Phil proclaimed more winter and no early spring.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35194650/ns/weather/PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. - The world's most famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, emerged before chilly revelers in western Pennsylvania on Tuesday to see his shadow, a sign his handlers say means winter will last another six weeks.
Some 12,000 people gathered before dawn to await his weather forecast. They came from as far as Chile and the Netherlands, braving a chilly 18 degrees Fahrenheit to see the more than century-old ritual.

Yep, that always made me suspicious... It's a conspiracy, I say!

Well, in this case, I think he is right. Seems like the climo factors are in place or coming into place that we will see 4-6 weeks of cooler weather.

Yeah, I just don't think we're in for an early spring - but spring better not be late either!

How can anyone truly know if Phil saw his shadow or not? What if Phil is blind? Has anybody ever tested his eyes?
