So with inflation and cost of living going up it comes out to be 50.3" inches today.

6 1/4 inches on my snow board out back and still snowing here in Sherman/Denison. Was hoping we'd get close to 10" but I guess not.
Still extremely grateful for what we've gotten today though.
Absolutely beautiful, beautiful, beautiful snowstorm.
And in a season that gave us my first ever official white Christmas, who can complain?!?

That's much better than we get most winters. I'm sure you'll get a good few more inches before it's done. The worst of it this time was around the immediate metro area.

Absolutely. And hey, we've had a number of big snows up here in Grayson County where the heart of the Metroplex got much less or missed out totally. So I'm extremely, extremely glad for all DFW snow enthusiasts who got buried by this storm!

Besides, as I alluded to in my edit above, who can complain about a 6" snowstorm, especially in a winter season that gave me my first ever white Christmas!?! Certainly not going to be me.

Amazing winter, amazing winter...

Re: Texas winter wx thread (2009-2010)
With all of the heavy snow we've seen today, can you imagine how hard it must snow to measure 12.1 inches in a 24-hour period (DFW 24-hour record)?
Or 32 inches in a single snowstorm like they got at Dulles outside of Washington?
Boggles the mind...
