Actually the low looks stronger and may pull down more colder air then early anticipated. I also think the timetable
has been pushed back by several hours. IMO

Send some down our way Tim. Going to bed maybe when I wake up in the morning everything will be white outside. Not going to lose anymore sleep over it though.

Ivanhater, hope that radar is working for you. Maybe it will come in more handy for you than it is for me. Good luck.

Hang in there. From what I've been reading in the NWS Jackson discussion, the low is strenghtening. You guys should see some snow too. We're getting hammered right now.

I think I read in the New Orleans discussion that they thought the changeover in Baton Rouge would be around 2-3AM.

Baton Rouge may still have it's chance. The wind has shifted more from the north now and it is GUSTY. It had been out of the E or ENE most of the day. Temp has dropped to 34 here from 36 an hour ago.

Guys this may be my one report from Ruston Louisiana. We are going to def lose power. Snow coming down hard and fast and accumulating. The town is shut down and ppp are stupidly drivin on the roads and spinning out. I am NOT happy with Louisiana techs decision to at the last minute send everyone home at 1:00.

Such a huge buildup, and so far nothing but cold rain and some sleet. Starting to look like all of the excitement was for nothing.

We've got a full 4+ inches of heavy wet snow and it's now sleet mixed with snow. Snow stuck to roadways......very slick out there. 33.3F before sunrise.
