It may be intellicast you're talking about. It's very good at pinpointing the rain\snow line.

I know its probably verga at this point, but with precip moving in earlier than expected into Central Texas, is this going to allow for evap. cooling to take place earlier than sunrise?

I think the band is moving due east and just elongating to the NW a bit.

That snowmass in the panhandle is tilting / building SE. I'm guessing that's the main batch for DFW the locals have been referring to for early tomorrow a.m.

That band out in Abilene especially impressive. When the weather service says higher accumulations under a heavy band that's exactly what they mean for locally impressive amounts. Easily lay a coating to over an inch or more.

from the looks of it dallas, that thick band over Amarillo is gonna break the record if it continues to slide your way... It needs to hold together though.

Ok this is about the snowband in the Abilene vicinity,(Sweetwater to Comanche) I am not concerned about the very very heavy snow anymore I am concerned about the expansion/building, of this band becoming more widespread. There is still HEAVY snow, in this band but that is not the main concern with it. the main concern is focusing/tracking it as it moves through Abilene and approaches our surronding areas.

We might need to calm down, lol. I just feel like we are setting ourselves up for disappointment. Especially being so lucky last time. It just seems impossible for anything even close to that to happen again.
