I think the upside theory is in affect. Parts of NJ are in the 70's, while SE Texas is having temps fall thru the 50's. Here in S FL the high is 77°F.

Yeah, Ol' Man Winter is kicking and screaming as Spring becomes official. It seems like March is coming in like a lamb and going out like a lion.

Tell me about it, I packed my winter coats away last week and we took the plastic off the windows:cold: It was 28 degrees when i left for work this AM and the idiots here have the AC on :froze: The hubby burned the kerosene heater out this week also, sigh.

At least we have wood if we need it, other than that I have a snuggie I can use at night :ggreen:

Bit concerned about this system coming in. Especially after what happened two weeks ago. Another 3-6" of rain with heavier amounts locally could be havoc up in middlesex county again, especially if those locally heavier amounts happen to be in Bound Brook again.

Not to mention traveling to class in torrents of rain SUCKS. I want it to snow again.

Doesn't always seem like offices flip the switch to air as soon as the temps warm up? It happened where I work as well.

BASED ON THE CURRENT PRECIPITATION FORECASTS THE
DELAWARE RIVER WOULD CREST CLOSE TO FLOOD STAGE.

Crap, not again???? Great, which means Rt 29 will probably flood out...again, sigh. And there is a house on route 545, there entire back yard has been flooded out since the last rain and as of Friday it was *still* touching their back deck, I hate to see what their first floor looks like :eek: There are still a lot of other ponds and lakes in peoples yards but that one house is the worse! (this is in NJ, PA still has some but NJ has a lot worse :eek: )

Now will the surekill flood????? That one is closer to me since I moved. :?:

I'm concerned about the people up in Yardley, New Hope, Lawrenceville, etc. When the Delaware floods, they get wiped out.

"Surekill" :lol:

I still have to dive thru Bucks County, it's cheaper for me to go over the Trenton-Makes bridge then take 2 turnpikes home and the Neshaminy Creek was *HIGH*...very very high this PM!!!

---I can never spell Schuylkill right so Surekill will work :lol:

We got off easy this time. Alot of the heavy rain stayed offshore and hit Long Island. Had it not we'd of had major major issues.

#40 Postby Stephanie » Sun Apr 04, 2010 9:00 am

BEAUTIFUL weather this Easter weekend. Highs in the mid 70's. Yesterday I woke up to clouds and some fog and wondered if we were going to even have the 70's. By 10:00 am, the fog burned off and the sun was out.

We are having more May like weather than April and we have to remember that we could still see some lower, more normal like temperatures. However, NOT THIS WEEK where we'll be seeing mid to upper 70's and some 80's with a chance of showers on Thursday.

Enjoy everyone! :)
