Ooh! Ooh! Did I hear the word margarita? :cheesy:

I love Key West - such a wonderful thought as I stare at the misty, snow-covered
landscape right now! Thanks for the lovely daydream, Amy!

I've been VERY busy these last few months; I'm entering the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus on 06 March (same date as the fall of the Alamo in 1836), and I've had to obtain a tuxedo, all the regalia (chapeau, cape, baldric, sword, etc.), plus a few other items. Plus, I ran the membership drive for my Council earlier this year, and we now have 7 new Knights or transfers coming in this evening.

THIS is what the 4th Degree ensemble will look like when worn (It ain't me in the picture)...

Is there anything hot (coffee??) on the Stove? Annabelle (she be a ho'), Bonnie Wee Lassie, Digger B. O'Dell and Seamus MacTuff followed me in this morning, and they LOVE jerky...is there enough for the four of them?

Egads...has it been THAT long since I've been around? Holy cow!

Don't know where to start, might be too long to post so in short, too busy, too much crime, too much snow, not enough wood on the fire, not enough Jack Daniels *sigh*

WOW...it's sure the winter of winters here! I'm 12" shy of 112" for the season :ggreen: dare I say, ENOUGH? My snow blowers tired, the snow shovel is worn out, my driveway has 4" of ice since Christmas Day "WAAAH!" LOL!

Can't stay but a second, it's beer time with a shot of Jack...OH, BTW, I'm comin' to Florida in May, too bad it aint NOW LOL!

Laterz people! :ggreen:

Not bad, Bill. It's not quite the accoutrements in your avatar, but it still represents fighting the good fight, eh?

The instruction in the early afternoon, and ceremony of knighting during Mass last Saturday was VERY impressive; my sister accompanied my as my "Lady", and we both had a great time.

We ALSO stayed in bed on Sunday, all day, from leg and muscle cramps from the 12-hour exemplification ordeal.

Nonetheless, it was worth it. :flag:

No "ordeal" as such...just a lot of waiting around on our feet between exemplification, then Mass, then banquet. Thankfully, the hospitality rooms on the third floor had FOOD available, or we'd have passed out long before they opened the banquet hall!
