Anyone watching the premier tonight? Some big happenings already. Won't say any spoilers.

Very big happenings, should be a great season. Seeing Capt Phil is a bit bittersweet.

I saw the premier. It's strange to see Captain Phil and it's going to be tough when the opie season follows the King crab season.

Sig is right - the calm seas and beautiful weather is an omen...

One last thing - Keith is a little sh!t.

That is all....

WAIT! I just realized that Sig is going to have some deja vu with the other Jake now! WOW!

I think the next couple of weeks eposides are going to be some of the roughest probably. So sad how he was having a great time with the boys just hours before everything went down the way it did, when they were looking at the old pictures.

In hindsight, looking at the pictures, wanting to get home to see Jake through rehab, it looked like that was all a part of the "big plan". It is going to be a rough few weeks.

Very difficult to go through all of this with the eyes of millions watching you.
Jake Anderson has had more than his share of heartbreak.
And the Harris boys...
There's a lot of change coming to the crews we've come to know in an odd way.
Frankly, it makes me feel more human to look through this small window into their lives.
I appreciate them sharing so much of it with us.

Bre and I know a fellow, Dege Legg from here whose music was featured on the first episode of after the catch. Nice guy. Excellent musician. You can see him at :19

I love how he has a picture of Capt. Phil next to him. Do they feature any of his music on After the Catch? I'm glad that they decided to hold After the Catch in New Orleans in support of the Gulf.

I really cried hard last night, especially when Freddie was talking to Josh about going to be there for his Dad and the reactions of Sig and Keith.

I am. I have to remember to wash my face to get rid of my makeup so I don't look like a raccoon.

These guys are all people.
Just like the rest of us.
It really is great of them to share this with us.
We're all connected. And Phil will be missed, but he left us with his legacy.
Take it for what you will.

I think that the fans of the show connected with them because they were real - "just people".

That must've been such a shock for Josh and Jake for Phil to have another "event" when he seemed to be doing well.

Anyone watch last night's tribute? OMG, the reactions of the other captains and their crew to Phil's death along with the Cornelia Marie gang was heartbreaking. Each tribute done by the respective boats was touching.
