The supercell is ready for its closeup at Columbus AFB radar. Clearly, there's a tornado in there. AL state line is next, but it's going to run into a more stable environment ahead albeit still highly sheared.

WLBT TV in Jackson, Ms. reporting two fatalities in Jackson County (? I think that was the county). Other announcer said her husband sent her pics of cars tossed on I-55 (like toys she said).
The first announcer said they also have other information but they aren't releasing it until they can confirm.
That doesn't sound good...
EDIT: I think based on what I'm gleaning from other news sources, it WAS NOT Jackson County hit (perhaps emergency responders going from the county).
Looks like Warren, Issaquena, and Yazoo Counties were the worst affected thus far.

Damage shots from Yazoo City look like at least EF-3 damage to my eye.

Well, as I mentioned, I'm not sure I heard right on the county...I think they said Jackson County.
EDIT: As mentioned a couple of posts up on this page, I think based on what I'm gleaning from other news sources, it WAS NOT Jackson County hit (perhaps emergency responders going from the county).
Looks like Warren, Issaquena, and Yazoo Counties were the worst affected thus far.
Also, announcers just said Jackson dodged a bullet.

I saw. I was looking through MSDOT webcams to see if there were any where the tornado is now, or any where it crossed...not a one showed anything other than regular traffic and rain slick roads (even in Starkville and Columbus).

I've seen one report on the CNN.com home page that indicates that the tornado at Yazoo City may have been upwards of a mile wide...

Growing concerns about cells forming to the SW of the original long track one. Particularly the one moving along Rt. 12 toward Starkville as rotation has been markedly increasing.
Update: Rotation has weakened.
