WW2 prisoners of war, in a German work camp, came here in 49 on Christmas Eve, got married at St Matthews in Germany in 1947...still researching family background, lots of info was destroyed

My Dad & Mom are Cubans and looking back, as far as I know, my heritage is from Spain. I know one of my great-great-great grandparents came from the Canary Islands.

Mom - Eastern European Jews, everybody came over in the late 1800s from Russia/Poland (maybe others like Belarus, Prussia, Lithuania....national borders have moved around a bit since then)

Dad - 100% Swedish, he moved here after he met and married my mom on a business trip to America.

Dad-Scottish-Farm was at Beatock, Northern Dumfrieshire, Scotland-GGG Grandfather???
