El Nino vs La nina

#1 Postby StormingB81 » Sat May 22, 2010 8:01 am

We just went through El nino. They say we can see La nina condictions come October. How does La nana effect Typhoons/Hurricanes (I am in okinawa so we see Typhoons) compared to el nino? Thanks.

I am not sure about typhoons, but I know in the Atlantic, a la nina can make things more favorable...likewise, I believe things become a little less favorable in the eastern pacific, if i am not mistaken?
