Thanks for the information Toni and Mike. I am going by what I have heard.

I would assume there have been other tropical systems that have made landfall elsewhere that have weakened more than Erin did.

You're welcome, Tom and Toni. Actually Erin left the WC has a 45kt tropical storm (50 mph) ... found that information on the Unisys site also with some radar images ...

GREAT PICS SF, Erin wasn't really that big of a storm was she? At the time she looked pretty big to me, I guess because she was comming at me.

If I remember correctly Erin formed rather quickly also and didn't give the East coast much time to prepare. Thanks for pulling that up! Brought back some memories.
