Sorry to hear about your dear friend Rainband, you and his family, are in my thoughts and prayers. My maternal grandmother died rather suddenly last year, and I'm still not fully over it yet, more than likely never will be. We were very close, and in addition to the lose, the unexpected nature of the event has raised many questions about the nature of life and death that I'm still grappling with.

Today the attorney and a camera person are coming to our house to interview me about Andrew. This is going to be hard

Patricia, I consider myself to be a very faithful man, everyday when I say my prayers, I pray for the strength to forgive you for your crime, but I can't even come close. On May 26, 2007 on SR 52 You killed many different people in one reckless act. You killed a Son, you killed a brother, you killed Grandson, you killed a nephew, you killed a cousin, you killed a future husband and Father and you killed my best friend. You killed the future of a very successful young man. At 23 years of age Andrew lived more of his life and accomplished more than most of us can hope to in our lifetime. That night you destroyed a piece of the hearts of everyone that ever knew and Loved Andrew.
That night you took a piece of my life that I can NEVER get back. Your negligence and selfishness robbed all of us of a very special and unique individual a very kind and giving individual. I cannot begin to tell you the pain and agony each one of Andrew's friends and family members go through to this very day. I pray the next time you think of driving while impaired, you think twice. Your actions are likened to those of a DUI driver. You were equally as impaired without your glasses but your vanity seemed to be more important than being visually impaired and using your car as a 2000lb weapon. You took from me, My lil Bro and My Best friend, I watched Andrew grow from a 15 year old kid into the special and successful young man that he had become. He was looking forward to his future as a GM at Panera and reaping of rewards of his just acquired degree in Business Management. He wanted to start his own restaurant and settle down with a wife and kids. He wanted so much and worked so hard to achieve it and your recklessness destroyed all that took years to build in a matter of seconds. I pray that more is done in this case and you eventually loose your License. Do me a favor...go get those glasses you refused to wear and put them on now. Find a mirror and look deep into. Take a long look at your face. Thats what the face of a murderer looks like. I have nothing more to say to you...............

Jonathan, as Stephanie said, it's hard to believe that it's been 3 years. I know how difficult this has been for you. Keep thinking of the wonderful times you had. Anniversary dates are extremely hard because they rekindle those bad memories. Maybe writing your thoughts down will help. You know you're in my thoughts and prayers. ((HUGS))
