Looks like the one that hit Miami was the result of a pretty impressive outflow collision.
I didn't get any hail, though, just moderate to heavy rain. In fact, I haven't seen hail in quite a few years.

Heat index at 9 in the morning this Saturday is 100 degrees.....86 already with 80% humidity and dewpoint 79. Heat index could get up to 110....and I'm going to play golf
There HAS to be the potential for some really nasty storms later, with these high temps and high moisture readings.

Extreme heat and humidity across the peninsula today....temps in the 90s and dewpoints from 75-80 deg are producing some extreme heat indices (dewpts in parts of the Keys are in the low 80's right now!!!):

We finally had a true dry season stretch in the last few weeks. I knew that would happen.
After the abnormal cold season we're now in an unusual early heat spell. I don't think it went below 84* last night. Bad for potential June cyclone support.
