Sorry, the image is no longer valid since the MCS (thunderstorm complex) blasted through TX yesterday is no longer there ....

True, however there is some energy still indicated on satellite imagery, considering.

Some relief today from the heat in SE TX. Noticed southerngale's thread of a 69º in Beaumont, TX with rain/thunderstorms.
