last year someone posted on the recon data coming in a idiot breakdown of what each column means. I had computer crash and lost that info can someone please repost. thxs. Also whoever created the google visual images of flights they are great and really help us very amateur storm watchers.

So when can we expect them to task The Gulfstream?


Paul,IMO,in tommorows Plan of the Day update,they may include missions for that plane.

I am only trying to not have the main recon thread turned into oneliners instead of having continous data flowing without interruptions and that is the purpose of this thread :)

I should probably get away from here while the flight is still en route, so I don't feel compelled to stay up to see what it finds and frustrate the gf.

I'm guessing they'll find flv winds of about 40-45 kts.

They are lowering flight level.. now 1027 meters and going down.

They are going at 925mb level , that is a reduction of 75%.

I want to see recon fly through that northern convection before we declare a 'center' with this system. I'm looking at that for a new center.
