Good question. But I think they use Standard Time to decide it, not Greenwhich Mean Time, in which case it made landfall at 9PM CDT on June 30th. CrazyC83, is that correct?

Alex went in under rapid intensification and probably gave that little fishing village a hard punch.
This was a dangerous storm if it had another 24 hours over water.

It could be wobbling, but it kinda looks to be going SW now. Anyone know or can say it's wobbling?

Seriously, it looks better than ever. I knew this would happen, did the same thing over the Yucatan. Some storms just have funny personalities that we simply cannot explain. There is a chaser over on Eastern thats about 40 miles inland but most likely in the eyewall right now, I'm hoping he has the equipment to make proper observations.
