Total Solar Eclipse Versus World Cup Football Final

#1 Postby abajan » Sun Jul 11, 2010 8:06 am

What a dilemma those in Tahiti face today! “Oh whoa is me...whoa is me...Should I watch the World Cup final featuring two teams that have never won it? OR do I watch a total eclipse of the sun the likes of which hasn’t occurred in these parts for hundreds of years?” :?:

 I suggest taking your battery powered TV outside and viewing both!

The Total phase which is the part you want to watch only lasts about 5 minutes.

Turns out that the match was garbage anyway (just a single goal and yellow cards galore among other things). Watching the entire eclipse would've been more fun.

The Taihitians thought so too.
