Man, That's Just Too Realistic For My Liking

#1 Postby abajan » Tue Jul 13, 2010 8:29 pm

Yesterday, my 7 year old goddaughter introduced me to her Nintendo DS and showed me just some of the cool stuff it's capable of doing. One of the activities featured taking care of three puppies. Their reactions to my touches on the screen were so realistic it was giving me the creeps. Part of that activity involved a bubble blower that would only produce bubbles if the touch screen was blown on, not touched! Very freaky, peeps!

I think the bubble blowing thing actually uses the microphone as opposed to the touchscreen. Still cool though.

That’s quite possible. Next time I get a chance to use it, I’ll cover the mic and see if it makes a difference.

If you think that's realistic/amazing, just wait until the Nintendo 3DS comes out next year. People in the video game industry who saw it in person at this year's E3 said it was incredible and the most impressive hardware there.
