All the convection is in the ITCZ, so whilst its a decent wave its probably not going to warrent more then a code yellow.

Since the wave that is currently 97L came off, the waves have been gaining strength steadily, sure sign things are nearly there for the CV season...

I agree...

And, the CV area disturbance looked more impressive earlier, but since then there's some serious poofing going on (lol) because it's entering an area of dry air...
