So far recon is showing modest TD-strength winds on the west side of the LLC - nothing to get in a (cyclonic) spin over (lol) - let's see what they find in the convection...

Shouldnt the strongest winds be in the NE quad? I dont think they're there yet.

They haven't gotten to the good stuff yet.
There's certainly no argument about a closed circulation out there.

I noticed that too - earlier he was all the way down to 315 feet (I think that is their absolute minimum, otherwise the fish start to complain)...

New center well to the north it appears. Looks like they are climbing to 925mb as well (reduction from that would be 75%).

You add a 1 to the beginning. 1006.5 mb.

Pressure = millibars
Winds = knots

It is millibars, but if the first digit is 0, then a 1 is place in front. So 0065 is 1006.5 and 9965 would be 996.5 millibars.

If a mod could kindly post a conversion table at the beginning of every new recon thread, we could avoid alot of excess postings. It happens with every new system, would be a great tool.

Color me unimpressed but the wind speed has been really low so far. I question TD3 even being Bonnie anytime soon.
