Winter Outlook for 2003-2004.....

#1 Postby Johnny » Wed Aug 13, 2003 12:33 pm

I've looked around quite a bit and could not find any information on the winter forecast for 2003/04. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

:?: Has it come out yet? I'd like to see it too.

I know that Joe Bastardi usually does one thorugh AccuWeather, but you need to be a "premium member" (I.e. pay) to read his analyses. I think that it is alittle early though for his forecast for the winter.

Once I get my things together, I may post my thoughts on this winter. I made one back in July...but it needs a LOT of tweaking. So maybe at the end of the month :D Can't wait to see yours king!

Isn't that that really cold weather phenomenon that people get to experience up north and that I have to buy a plane ticket to get to? :)

Well...the outlook for me is pretty grim.....above normal temps and WAY below normal snowfall, figures, "let's REALLY dry things out here!"

I sure hope that this winter brings a lot of precip to the drought areas out west. However, I fear that this winter may be a lot like this past winter.
