Seems they have found ssw winds as well as I believe it was 40 kt winds as well.

the last column is whether they feel there is an error with the obs or not - 00 means none
the 4 columns before that - the one next to the error column is the winds seen from the sfmr at the surface- on board radar I believe, the 3 before that the last 2 numbers are the knots found at flight level.
ooops, that should be 2 columns away from the error column is the sfmr (on board radar) - not the one next to it, then the 2 to the left of it are actually flight level readings.

yeah, that's why I am confused, unless they had trouble with the plane. They didn't finish sending any obs today past the 17th obs. so maybe a new plane on the way?

So is that the next mission, 06z from St.Croix. They normally don't do it for invests (which effectivly it is) but obviously since it maybe developing they may well go into the system.

What you are posting at the recon thread may be or a training mission or as you said sending another plane to ST Croix. By the way,it not says this header=0104A INVEST instead is WXWXA

Given that the plane is meandering around 98° W, it appears that AF304 is a training mission. Seems likely to me that the next mission is the one scheduled to launch at 1630Z, tomorrow.
