Rough fall/winter severe weather outbreaks?

#1 Postby MississippiHurricane » Thu Aug 12, 2010 1:46 am

I have just been noticing all the cold fronts making it so far south this summer........kind of unusual and just wondering/thinking to myself if this trend continues into the fall/winter if we would be in store for some tornado/severe weather outbreaks.

Well, La Ninas are known for fall and winter outbreaks, so I'd say you're probably on to something.

Then again La Ninas are also known for active hurricane seasons so what do I know. :D

I am not a meteorologist, and any posts made by me are not official forecasts or to be interpreted as being intelligent. These posts are just my opinions and are probably silly opinions.
