those coordinates and a building EC high as GFS depicted....Bahamas, FL, EC.....hell even the GOM comes into play....

Hour 126, the ECMWF has this storm at 22N 55W and strengthening

Shoooould sneak under the ridge this run but I hate to speculate :wink:

the high must not be that strong or able to dig as deep as you would typically see in August...might be under doing the high in the longe range....
