I don't think there's any doubt that Camille was a category 5 at landfall, but 190mph sounds a bit too high.
It's still impossible to argue that it was a very destructive and powerful storm and that the people who rode it out on the Mississippi coastline likely experienced some of the strongest winds that anybody ever has.
