Watch my forecasts and see. I am not conceded, I was gifted with a 171 average IQ, majored in meteorology and was lucky enough to meet the director of the NHC at the age of 10. I could go on and on but I won't. Why are so many of you attacking me when you don't even know me; when I blow a few forecasts in a row, fine but until then, let me prove what I can do, not that you guys can't, just give me a shot here.

Emily.

Thanks.

Even with Danielle strengthening at a good clip, the dry air looks pretty nasty to me early this morning. The outer bands faded just as the eye popped out.

Please read the rules of this forum... We are not allowed to criticize/bash the NHC. They really do a heck of a job.

I come in after a week to check on the tropics...lets just say the last 2 pages
of this thread have given me the greatest laugh in weeks...

Danielle should reach major status...the season is following a true La Nina late
blooming fashion.

The NHC does do a good job, but they could do much better, they average 100-200-300 nautical miles per day in error and they have blown allot of forecasts; all that said, I plan to work as a lead forecaster at the NHC within a few years, they are true professionals and they do a great job, however they really have a long way to go on they're average error in day's 1 2 and 3.

The NHC screwed up bad with katrina though. Even though it was 5 years ago

Okay, fair enough. When someone comes on a forum stating they are better than <insert authority>, expouses conspiracy theories about the government withholding data, and claims superhuman intelligence, that naturally causes a sense of disbelief and a feeling that the poster is conceited (proper spelling). But the proof is in the pudding. So if you want people to believe you, show some data. Starting with the Storm2K disclaimer, write a post with forecast points similar to those ending the NHC storm discussions, and then we'll be able to see your superior forecasting acumen. Other past Storm2K'ers (eg Derek Ortt, ncweatherwizard) did so, and you can too to back up your claims of exceptionality. Otherwise, it's all bluster.

Back on topic, ASCAT passed east of Danielle, clipping its eastern quadrant:

"Conpiracy theories." You misread my post, the man claiming a conspiracy theory called TWC saying that and he was claiming TWC was witholding data to get higher ratings. I never said that I had "superhuman intelligence," if you call an average IQ of 171 "superhuman," then fine, but that is a gift that I had no control over. I'll give you your forecast points and when they're more accurate then the....oh I can't say the three letters, well then you'll know.

Wow, we can add the troll from the last couple of pages to the list of those we have suffered with in the past.

This one did have an incredible amount of arrogance though.
Happily, it's late at night and we are not yet in a tense situation where the damage could have been a lot worse

Thanks to The Mods for once again stepping up!

I also wanted to see at least one of JPM's forecasts, but some things just were never meant to be...

I can't tell if that is an eye developing or it is starting to fall apart again.
